Pictures from the Third Coast Shark Gathering
Too many pictures to put them up here! Check out my website for more pictures than you need.
It was a great weekend and I appreciate everyone's hard work to re-schedule it. See you next year!

Jan,
Outstanding Pics, I think you just chronicled the entire event on one site!!!
Great seeing you and Terri at the event! Thanks to everyone that made it such a great event, all those that attended and a special thanks to our sponsors: The 928 Owner's Club that provided the funding and the means to get T-shirts to everyone at the event (Stan Shaw, Teri Knebel, and Betsy Andrade), Dave and Jeanie at 928 Specialists for all the giftchecks (I'll be using mine soon!), Paul Champlaine for the "I want a 928" plaques (cool!), Zimm's for the gift certificates, and Tres (from San Antonio) for taking care of dinner on Friday night! Thanks to all!!!!!!!!! Hope I didn't forget anyone.
The weather, and the Texas Hill Country could not have been any better. Look for this to be an annual event in Nov. every year. (we hope!)

OK. Spill the beans. Who took a ride in the Mr. Robinsons Turbo 928? Please tell us all about it. I saw the intercooler piping in a couple of thos pics and it looks very clean from the little bit I can see.

Nobody asked for a ride yesterday unfortunately, but I think that was my fault. I finished my intercooler installation late Saturday night & had not had a chance to do a "shake-down" run before leaving for 3rd Coast. I ran it quite hard on the way back & am pretty sure I'll need to increase my fuel pressure to maximize my cooler mixture. Otherwise, the car drives like a cadillac, although a bit more power. Leaving 3rd coast, I squeezed the throttle at about 3k & 2nd gear only to throw the back end out about 45d before catching it with a light throttle lift.
I have to move this week, but will hit the dyno & 1/4 mile track again next week or weekend. I expect about 420rwhp/440rqtq or so @ 5.8psi, my current configuration.

intercooler
Making the first intercooler is always the hardest. Now that I've done it before, I suspect future "raw" installations could be had for less than 3 hours work.
Here's what the proto looks like: production will not change (from the top site of the engine), except, I wont cut my driver's pipe 4" short at the back of the motor & need to splice another piece of tubing to bridge the gap! Doh!

Way coooool!
Did anyone save some dessert for me.
Was there the obligatory line of 928 with a nice Police Car escort photo.
Hope everyone just got a warning.
Was good to see some familiar faces. (Jim, Rog and the original Ernest)
