That's a tad high but not bad. You might have paid 125 elsewhere, and I have NEVER seen a used light without some sort of wear or slight flaw like that. Or ... you could buy a new unit at some 250 dollars.

Hi Miles: That's unfortunate to hear! But at least it arrived the first time...

Ya boet, I don't think a cracked unit is normal wear, and if you look closely, you can see where I tried to paint the edge black to cover all the crazing. GAD also assured me by phone that it was a perfect unit.

The price did hurt as I also had significant duty to pay here, anyway I did buy a new unit, then bought a new right unit so they matched !

OK, 'nuff said from me on this topic.

Clean the lens with alcohol and pray it with clear coat. The light will look brand new. Saw this trick form a friend of mime that ahs a body shop, and also tried it myself. H is correct, it’s very difficult to find used lenses in really good condition.

Thanks Oom, I might take you up on that, am importing stuff on a monthly basis. Have had really good service from 928 Intl, Nicole, and the other major players.

Though authorization can be argued by the biller/shipper:
Unauthorized = Fraud.
Unauthorized also = You can keep it for free.

And i thought you had _at least_ a full billing cycle to dispute a charge, though you may know better and I presume there can be some variance between institutions

Hold their feet to the fire.

Will-
Thanks. Last night I bought the new front shocks from Pelican.

I used a debit card not a credit card. I was stupid and let it go on too long. I really have no case. When I get the shocks fro GAD I will sell them to recoup some of the money.

Just keep this thread alive so that GAD doesn't dupe more Porsche owners!

Most likely the lens was good but when the guy in the yard came to remove it from the donor car...the lens was stressed and shipped by an uncaring employee...I'm playing the devils advocate.
