Default Just some photos before winter...

Nothing special to anyone but me, but I sure do love my 928.

Just got the sunroof working today and am looking forward to new front bar and cross overs to give me something to do when the snow flies.

Thanks,

Actually the rims are not chrome, I've just polished the devil out of them. Gives me something to do on the car when I can't afford anything else. '-)

Has anyone else gone into the garage at 10:30 at night and given their car a coat of RejeX? I'm not exactly obsessed, I don't think.

I took someone's advise and tried the "eraser" last night on the underside of the hood. It's amazing. I have new insulation on the way.

Very Nice, what do you use on the wheels?

It's something called "Eagle One" Never Dull. I just picked it up at the local Advance Auto parts store, but it's pretty amazing. It's a small can with fiber that has a compound in it. It really cleans and I'm amazed at how long the chunks of fiber last.

I tried a very light 3M swirl remover with a buffer- foam pad, but it tended to load up right away.

I gave them a good coat of RejeX when I got done.

For polishing wheels (that have already been polished and just need a touch up) try the mothers powerball! Attach it to a cordless drill! Works great with far less work than doing it by hand! Check the link below

Thanks Brian.

Rod, I can't believe you could get those results with never dull if its the stuff in the silver and black can. I never got any good results with it. I work with metals and have tried many things and for already smooth, polished metals i have found nothing better than mothers mag and aluminum polish, even better than rouge.

I just wanted to know if you had found some miracle substance.

Maybe it was the chant that I used while I was polishing? Darn, I wish I could remember the intonations I used. ;-)

Yes, Rod, I love your 928 too. Nice RMB, VERY dark window tint (certainly illegal in CA that dark on the front door windows) and the rims do shine.
