Default '88 or '89 Five Speed adoption??

I've decided I'll pursue finding the right manual transmission car
again - as a replacement for my departed one.

Earl G and I'll be busy dismantling the recently departed one for a while, but if you, or someone you know has an '88 or '89 (preferred years, consider '87-91) 5 speed they are looking for someone to adopt, please contact me. Needn't be perfect, but I'd want it to be able to be made mechanically excellent and cosmetically very good with some work and a few spare parts from my latest "protector".

Thanks,

Gary Knox

May I suggest an 89, because of the lower final drive ratio, digital dash, etc?

What will you do with the engine from the departed car?

Gary's been stealthy about that... until you just outed him I was referring to using a dedicated 928 for Track Duty in any case.

I think Dr. Scott Mohr made noises recently about selling his 89GT. He's a couple of hours from you in PA. Rennlist user name Scott M. You might want to contact him.
