I wonder if this is the same problem my car has with the WOT throttle switch? I was thinking about running the same test again and pulling the throttle cable right at the manifold to see if it solves the problem?
One more item on the to do list!

The question I get asked so often is how do I get more power out of my 928? the answer is often make sure it runs like it is supposed to ! Then worry about modifications. Misadjusted throttle cables, inop flappys, defective knock and hall sensors, low octane loops plugged in, Mass air sensors out of spec....

Brian: It might be. Look at the throttle quadrant and find the end of the cable that goes back into the firewall. It should have essentially no slack. Adjustment is the plastic fitting where the cable passes through the firewall. Same with the cable going to the linkage from the quadrant with the plastic adjuster at the quadrant. Make sure there is slack in the cruise. If you find some thing correctable, we can put the Spanner on and test it after you make the adjustment.

I'll have to take a look at that! I wonder if it has anything to do with my cold start problem too? Hmm?
