I know it sounds like a lot. But I'm amazed how detailed these models have become. I have bought a Minichamps 928S4 in Germany for my own collection and love it. I think it was somewhere around Euro 39 over there

I'll have to investigate. AutoArt has a minimum order, so ideally I'd order it together with the 928s. At this point I have no intention to become a major general AutoArt dealer, but if you want something at the time I order the 928 models, I'll see what I can do for you.

BTW: Ever noticed that AutoArt products rarely show up on ebay? It's because they have a policy - or should I say contract - that disallows their dealers to sell through ebay. Not sure, if that's legal, though...

Nicole: 928: I bought it a couple years ago off ebay, apparently very cheap if the offer here is $100, although that offer has not been followed up on so that was made in the heat of the moment, and not valid, shall we say. I'll check it this weekend. Slightly OT: About the same time I found a Jag X220 for $10 on the street in NYC, haven't/can't beat that yet, and regardless of price, I consider it the best in my collection. I was looking a long time for a 904 and couldn't find it anywhere, the week after I paid "well over $50" I found it on a google for $28. These are all 1/18. To anyone looking, do a thorough google or webcrawler, I haven't found anything on ebay, but you never know.

Let me know when this is, I may have a list to add to that order.

The detail on the cars are really nice! Maybe a bit overpriced, but still very nice detail! Except for the '90 S4 is a bit screwy. It is a "GT" not an S4, well except it has S4 wheels and exhaust, but we all know that all '90 5sps were GT's.

Shane, my guess is that these will be collectible/valuable in the future (probably reflecting the high price that you paid), since they'll be pretty rare as a complete set, and they're Porsche licensed.
Shame that's not the case with our 1:1 scale 928s; but then if it were, I guess many of us wouldn't own them.
