Another ebay scam
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1994-...QQcmdZViewItem
I sent him an email telling him I would be in Austin on biz on Wednesday and wanted to see the car...I am sure I will get the all-to-familiar BS email that he is out of the country, etc...
At least his one had the sense to NOT post a VIN (which I asked for in my email to him!)
Anyway - anybody recognize the car? If so - we should let the owner report it to ebay...

There have been a ton of low priced scam auctions over the past week or so.

Before reading this thread, I had emailed asking for the vin. I'm always reluctant to bid it up, as I just don't want the hassel with negative feedback, but I don't have a problem bidding and retracting, maybe some others will do the same. I'll wait to see if he responds.

Definately a scam.
Seller has been a member for only 4 days and already he has one (and only one!!) feedback for selling a car (an Audi extended cab????). He "sold" this previous car to someone in the UK (who has zero feedback) yesterday and already the buyer has left very positive feedback ("great seller AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++++++++++++++++").
Wow, they must ship cars fast from Austin to UK.

I noticed that the photos cleverly do not show the odometer and that the clock is exactly twelve noon. At least the clock isn't set to the time of Lincoln's assassination.
Cheers,
