Got the car back today, runs like new again. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Turns out both fuel pumps where completely dead. I only had to pay for the intank pump and it's install since the external was under warranty.

Question: The 87 and 88 model S4's did not have an in-tank pump. They only have a screen in the fuel tank. Since the in tank pump is prone to failure and when it fails it kills the other pump, I'm thinkging about not putting the in-tank one in and buying the 87/88 model external pump. Anyone done that for the 89 through 95 models ? Any downside to this ?
