missing package 928 Specialists
I ordered my Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks sometime ago from our friends at 928 specialists. Funds were transferred, the parts packaged and off they went to our very rural home by USPS. Some time goes by and no package. I phone Jeanie for tracking info and she gets the 'well they went to Canada' so they can't be tracked.
It turns out that when the package crosses the border it then becomes the responsibility of Canada Post but there system can't use the same tracking numbers as they were intially generated by USPS........to much to ask that the system may be linked some how.
Anyway, long story short, the package remains AWOl between the 2 postal systems but the good folks at 928 Sp resent springs and shocks via UPS this time and within 24 hrs I have my suspension. This was done without any incremental cost to me.............well done Jeannie and team
Of course I'll return the other package should it ever surface.
Now the fun begins swapping out the suspension

Shame on you! You should be flogged for trusting such a valuable package to the US/Canadian posties. What were you thinking? Trying to save a couple of loons?

There is absolutely NO doubt that the package is in Canadian customs. Some day, when they get around to it, they'll forward it AFTER they make sure any duties/tariffs/penalties/fees/fines/or levies are paid in full.

My postman was driving a pretty bitchin' mail truck around the curves at my house the other day, with some 20-in Cayenne wheels and what appeared to be a Momo wheel on the wrong side of the truck. When I asked how he managed to keep her flat through the curves, he just smiled and said:
"I've got contacts, eh".
"I've got contacts, eh".

I've been using FedEx Ground to ship stuff around. They seem to be cheaper than UPS in all cases and not ONCE in 18 years have I had a problem with FedEx loosing a package. YMMV.
