Default Unique Coral Red Metallic 93 GTSA FS **11/10 - more pics**

I have known of this car for quite a few years in fact, I put the current owner in touch with the individual he bought the car from back in September of 2000. I was told by the original owner this GTS was either a PCNA Exec car or Press Car, I cannot recall exactly which. Besides the unique color which I love it has a Porsche phone (although I'm not sure its the one in the picture). The owner's name is Harris Zane, he lives in HI. He is a very nice guy. Here is his original cars.com ad:

'93 928gts. Coral red/blk, auto. 65K mi. $32,500 Shows pride of ownership! 351-2731 Listing Date: October 27, 2005 Listing Source: Honolulu Advertiser

Harris Zane email

Far as I'm concerned this is one desirable unique GTS. It appears to be in pretty nice shape and I know Harris has taken care of the car while he's owned it. If I were in a position to buy another GTS, I would seriously consider this one. Early car, great color, no moldings, nice options........

Here are some pics:

Isn't that an awesome car! The paint color is 82H according to the Aussie 928 site.

Beautiful car! Interesting arm rest. Unfortunately, that car belongs in Hawaii or on the coast. It would look hideous here in Michigan... but could handel it if I had to

The bummer is its in Hawaii....probably pricey to ship it back to the states..plus you gotta wonder what the salt air does to a 928's electronics? Still a great color!

The price to ship from Hawaii is aprox 900.00usd. These cars are very well protected, my car sat close to the ocean in Hong Kong and not a speck of rust and everything electrical works as it should.

The salt air is a demon. I once flew a new 911 to Hawaii to avoid any ocean shipping mishaps or scratches and within ONE month there were rust bubbles on the front fenders where they meet the door. I lived on the water, but there are some places in the mountains where salt air is not as bad. Everything rusts there, (plastic, paper, plants.....everything. Well, not everything....a slight exageration.) Everything except for my mother's 280SL which never showed any signs whatsoever of rust anywhere, and she had 2 of them.

I would be concerned about that car and rust or corrosion. I would also be concerned about proper maintenance.

The car has been in Hawaii for ~5 years. I'm sure if you asked Harris about any corrosion issues he would be straight with you. If anyone get serious about this car I'm also sure Harris would send any pics you wanted and assist with setting up a PPI. Guess it depends on where Harris lives in Hawaii. I love this car and wish I were in a position to buy it......

Here is a 95 GTS from Hawaii that did have some rust issues:

Damn...I could use an auto GTS, just not in a position to buy it right at the moment...Wait, I can sell the truck, the jag and the 82 ...hmmmmmmmmmm

I wasn't sure of the color when I first saw it, but I think color matched wheel centers would make this car sing. The color kinda grows on you. I am sure it looks great in person!
I am just across the water from "awicki wacki wooki", so bringing it to so Cal is doable.

Keith, you may buy it, and I'll take care of it for you while you find more garage space. Why, I'm just up the road from you.

Funny how when something like this comes up, I never have the money. I remember a few years ago when I was living in the city, I found a '73 2.7RS lightweight in the S.F. paper. The guy wanted $27,000 for it, and it was a true lightweight in good condition. He had to sell it for financial reasons. I should have robbed a bank or something else, because that car right now is almost unobtainium at any price.

I guess I'm the only one, but I don't think that color is the slightest bit attractive.
