I gave a little demonstration of a rolling 2nd gear burn out in the Frenzy parking lot Saturday. For the smash mouth type of driving I do, 3.09's are the ****s!
The most fun is on the interstate doing about 80 mph and some ricer fart machine gets a wild hair up his buttocks... just a small squize of the stupid pedal and toodles.
Kibort may this and Kibort may that, but he's never had the joy of driving 3.09's. To each hiis own. I like 'em but I am limited to ~145 top end. Enough for a lifetime ban on driving in most states.

Were you on I-81 in VA today? I saw a black NSX with PA plates going north.

You're a man after my own heart, dude! I won't be goin' over 145mph on the street anytime soon, but launchin' & streakin' to that point is where it's at for me.
By the way, where is Saxton, Pa.?

Maybe that included installation, because I know the price he quoted me was within my means at the time & $2500.00 would definately been way too high. I don't know, maybe he was trying to unload the last set on me because I remember him saying that he hadn't had a call on the 3.09 set in over a year. But whatever, he can't charge me too much for a phone call.

Hammer indeed it is! 1st and 2nd may be short but they are still a hoot, even with a stock engine. Ask Heinrich, he test drove it too, and spent the rest of the day trying to make a trade with me!

If any of you do go with a 3.09 ratio make sure you add LSD to the package if you don't already have it. These gears put you in the torque band real fast and you would be shredding one tire a lot without limited slip or PSD.
