Starting point was probably an '86 - but this work was usually performed on a non-new car (I leanred this recently of Gemballa and Strocek) so may well have been modified in '87 or later after the new body parts came out... an obvious update to go with if you are having this much work done anyway... (plus if it really was for a Porsche executive - then parts supply would be easy - even for not yet released items...)

I expect it was an '87/'88 conversion though.
