DR,

Just put mine in last weekend, didn't get a chance to drive until this morning. Feels really nice!! Nice and flat!

Wish I would have had it in for the Third Coast tour! BTW, when are the rear poly bushings coming out?? I'm not ordering the rear until then, but just say the word and I"m pulling the trigger!!

I helped Jim install his front and rear bars and they are perfect fits and seriously strong pieces. The rear install is a lot simpler than you'd think. Eight easily accessable bolts, drop the tranny a few inches and you're in.

Noooo problemo!! Just as soon as I get my driver's seat fixed, my front spoiler back on and figure out why my "Toothed Belt Service" warning is on.

Default 928 Specialist sway bar quality

I have the bars installed in my 87 928 race car and they are top quality. the fronts are a snap to installed but the rears are a bitch, lots of skint knuckles and add an hour of time to anything any one tells you.

I just received my bargain version for the front last week & it weighs a ton! Very impressive! Got new front bushings too. Can't wait to install it, hopefully something even I can do without too much risk of screwin it up! Maybe by the time I coordinate a few hours some afternoon to Get'r Done, the long awaited ModXpipe will be in & I can install that too!! Won't that make it a Very Merry Christmas!!

Mine are great. Have them set in the middle setting and the car is very flat, although a bit bumpier over some hard bumps. I also get some additional rear tire spin around turns when the tires are cold from it being so stiff and flat. The bushings would be nice but not so sure how necessary. When they come out I may drop the bar and have it powder coated as the paint scratched easily on the install of the rear. Would prefer it to be black and look closer to stock anyhow.

Otherwise

Default rear

I had a lot of trouble getting the rear mounts to line up right. Took at lot of put it on/take it off tries, but we got it. Bummer we scratched the heck out of it, though! Have to get it powdercoated eventually. Probably do the front BEFORE I install it!

Hi Matt,

>That's the first thing I said when DR showed them at SITM.

Maybe I will start including a can of black Krylon paint with each set ...

On a serious note, for those that want to touch up their bars that got scratched, the paint that matches perfectly is "X-O Rust" brand and the color is (no jokes please) "XO-14 Tractor Red". This paint is an Anti-Rust Enamel and was recommened by ADDCO. Pretty sure it is available at most hardware stores and for sure at "True Value" Hardware stores.
