BEEYATCH. You need a later LSD for the 83 auto Ken has or any other 4spd auto to wake up the car. 4spds is really a different car.
Or were you looking at the 350 dollar 78 5spd ***TRANSMISSION*** on ebay?

A couple people have emailed and posted about the (super cheap) cool parts, including the LSD.
I am giving priority to those who will be at Sharktoberfest, or on the PDX/LAX I-5 corridor, because I hope to do as little shipping as possible.
