I am glad I am not the only crazy one out here. for the winter I took off the(old) 16" wheels and 245/45 r16 potenza tires and replaced them with 4 15" Gotti J55a(clones) that were on a GMC saffari van (YES THEY FIT 127MM ) AND 205/65 R 15 BFG winter slalom(studded) tires. I also crawlled under the car and used the spanner wrench to RAISE the vehicles heigth(or the tires would rub). Changed all fluids, filters(air, oil, fuel) changed Upper and lower radiator hoses, I also changed the timming belt, water pump and belt tensioner(rebuilt it myself). The car did ok when I replaced the sub box with sand bags. To me the shark did fine all winter, no accidents or near misses, never got stuck. I was also carefull about which roads I took. Let us know how it goes for you and I wish you the best of luck.
