GTS Roof Antenna installation

GTS Roof Antenna installation
Just installed a new roof antenna on my GTS. The old antenna was cracked everywhere and has seen better days. Removal of the old antenna was no problem. A pair of needle pliers and the nut at the base came right off. I read in previous posts that the nut is a 17 mm.
That is not correct!!!
The nut is a 22mm socket size and the hole in the roof to access the nut is too small for a 22mm socket (old and new antenna). I fabricated my own "special" tool. I bent a small piece of round metal into a "U" shape. The gap is exactly 22 mm to grap the nut for the antenna. The pictures explain the repair process.
Here is where I bought the antenna http://www.installer.com/antenna/ant.html I chose model UA40 for $ 39.95 plus shipping. The antenna does not need the extra power cable for amplification. Reception is so very good and it looks stock but for only about half the price of Porsche unit.

I used a shower wrench I got at Home Depot:

The shower wrench is just a thin wall socket wrench that you can turn from the outside with another open ended wrench. So it fits the nut, but allows the antenna wires to freely hang down inside the wrench as you tighten or loosen the nut.
