GTS pressure plate Sachs?
Can anyone tell if the new GTS pressure plate I bought looks ok?
I'm concerned not seeing any balancing drill marks at all on it.
Especially after reading this comment from Jim Bailey on another clutch related thread:
This will be used in my 90GT and just wan't to make sure it looks normal.
Datecode looks to be 0395.
Cheers/Peter

I also recall that there were a few Sachs pressure plates some years ago that got distributed which were NOT balanced so check for irregular balance marks (drill marks) on the perimeter of the housing .

Looks fine.
If you are very concerned, take your pressure plate, clutch disc, and flywheel to a good engine rebuilder and have him balance each part and then assemble them and make sure they still look good.
Good luck,
Garrity

Thanks Garrity,
the pressure plate I'm just removing has drill marks which makes it looks balanced.
This new one has none, is that normal for a new pressur plate?
Cheers/Peter

Here's how the old one looks, it has 5 drilled balancing holes on one side and one on the opposite side.
The new one has none at all, can anyone tell if this is normal.
Can some pressure plates come out of manufacturing with good enough balancing and therefore not requiring any additional material being removed?

Any experince online to share some knowledge on this?
Has anyone changing their pressure plate noticed one without balancing drill marks on it?
