BTW, I'm curious if anyone has ever seen an ignition lock cylinder like the photo I posted on page 2. The different angle of the key slot is not entirely trivial, as both the inner and outer portions of the lock cylinder assembly are machined differently to accomplish this.

Yes, my US #0016, VIN 9288200026 has the same ignition with the vertical key slot. Pair of star door *****, hand laid fiberglass backer panels for door cards and rear 1/4 trim, and hand-painted stripes on the wiring.
