My idle decreasess slightly when I turn on the a/c. Is this related to the auxilary air valve for A/C?

If so, are there any links to write-ups for testing on this subject?

I must be misinformed. I thought the idle increased when the AC was activated. At least that's what mine does (when it's working).

 

OK! On a 89 GT should the idle increase when the A/C is turn on??
