There is also an episode where Mike and Edd do up a 944 Turbo, IIRC there is also a 914 show along with the 924 and 911 episodes.
All Wheeler Dealer episodes can be found here http://www.thebox.bz/main.php
Its a private torrent tracker site that only does british content, you'll have to sign up(don't know if they are accepting right now)
Every episode of Top Gear is there as well...for you folks who enjoy Clarkson and co.
Cheers,
Adrian

Isn't that an old episode? The cocoa brown OB automatic?
They didn't really do a whole lot in it mechanically, they pretty much just made it looks nice with a decent paint job and fixed what wasn't working or was working poorly. IMO they just flipped it, not restored it.
I still like Wheeler Dealers, but they make everything look like it's a piece of cake. Although major respect for Ed China with his skills.

I love the show. Kind of corny, but unique. I cringed when Ed put those new pads and calipers on those old rotors. He didn't even re-surface them. That's a big no no around here. I would have also liked to see an oil change, belt check etc...I mean the car sat for years. It should have had a full service. Hopefully they did more to the car than what they showed on TV.

I think they do. They mentioned during the "what we spent" portion near the end that it got new filters and fluids all around. Rotors are cheap enough to replace rather than resurface. Albeit i haven't priced rotors out for 928's so what do i know.

Maybe I can save other some time and frustration: The video is all on youtube so there is no need mess with the torrent link.
Cool stuff! I look forward to getting to watch the whole thing.

Track Day
That Wheeler Dealers 928 showed up here in Ireland a couple of years ago, having been bought from the guy Mike Brewer sold it to in the UK.
The new owner put up a few posts about it on the Irish Porshe owners club forum.
He didn't say what he paid for it but it apparently cost him the same again in the first 12 months in mechanical and other problems.
He had bought as an occasional use car with his father but it gave them endless grief, culminating in an overheat and blown head gasket(s) Neither of them are mechanically minded an were outsourcing all the work.
He asked for opinions and advice as to what he should do with it and got lots of advice from some 928 guys from the Irish forum. Apparently the motor was fairly well baked and it looked like a replacement unit was the best option.
As I recall the, by now, very disillusioned and disappointed owner just wanted shut of the thing and was looking for offers for it as is.
Shame to see someone getting burned on his first Porsche. I suppose the need to outsource the work was the real killer.
I think he said he was done with Porsche brand and was looking at a Honda S2000 instead.

Interesting... I had contacted him via FB about buying mine so he could finish it but never heard back from him. But that was about the time he was splitting with Ant and heading back to England. Thought he might bite on mine since he did the brown 928 early in the show's history.

Mike wanted to move the show back to England. Ant wanted to stay in SoCal. Mike has already come up with an Ant replacement.
Ant did a good job replacing Edd. He'd explain how and why he was doing a job. Seems they'd find more interesting cars to work on in SoCal, but I guess we'll see.

Here is an article on their 928 on Mike's website (didn't realize he had one)
