Wheeler Dealers Restoring 928

Awesome. CIS. No Rubs. Needs shocks. Door panels need leather stretching.
I only watched a few minutes, want to save it.

Drifting
It's quite long, but worth the watch. The dumb buyer at the end didn't check to see if the water pump & timing belt had been replaced, which they hadn't, and there's no service history. Don't ever buy a Porsche from Wheeler Dealers
And during restoration he takes a drive in a silver '78 with black & blue pascha op art. Just like mine except a year older.

awesome show. i'd love to have that on a dvd.
but also... what about the green wire? no checking of TB/waterpump? how come there was nothing that had to be done to the interior?

Burning Brakes
They mentioned that the car sat for 10 yrs. The CIS recondition / cam tower & oil pan leak repair / TB & WP service episode must have been too long to air. Nevertheless, I liked it. They had a lot of positive things to say about the 928.

Car still has old style alu ball joints at front IIRR.
If someone has place to put 292MB avi I can upload it and convert it to smaller size too.

BTW, what is SKY+? Some sorte of recording box from a satelite? In anycase, don't delete the material from the SKY+ as there might be a member close to you that knows how to transfer it to a computer and from there a final master would be easy to do!
