A/C?
A/C appears to be acting up. It was 88 degrees outside with strong sun A/C starts out ice cold I guess about 55 degrees and after driving for about 20 min or so It seems to be closer to 65 degrees and air flow is reduced resulting in the need to turn up the fan speed. If I turn the fan up to 4 sometimes it shoots water at you from the center vent. If I turn the A/C down for a few min it seems to bring the temp back down to about 55 and the air flow increases for a short period.
I was thinking it may be low on freon and it is icing up (spitting water/reduced air flow) or it may be the sensor. Anyone have a similar problem or idea?

Same here. 2yrs ago when I bought the 88, had it filled and has been good since.
Probably a small leak. I always run the ac once in a while in winter to keep the seals lubed.
I don't think the po did this.

Well, given the symptoms, I'd say at the very least your evap drain is clogged, and the evap duct area is possibly filled with leaves, bugs, dirt, dust, feathers, etc. Open the hood, from the pass side near firewall located the blower motor under the flimsy plastic shield. Be careful of that shield. With a flashlight, peel back the rubber duct boot, shine the flashlight down into the center of the dash area and inspect the evap coil for gunk. It can be carefully vacuumed clean.
There is a drain from the bottom of the plastic tray that leads to outside. From the bottom of the car, locate the outlet for the evap drain. Cleaning it is something like gun cleaning, except is not a perfectly straight barrel. Use a thin piece of wire, thinner than a hanger, fold the end over a small swab of cloth and jam it up in there to clear the drain of debris. Unfortuantely, this will push it all up into the tray area, and you can then try flushing it back down with some light solvent mixture.
Surely you have checked the operation of the heater control valve? It is closing and remaining closed while the engine is running and the AC is on? Low on Freon is also possible, or freeze switch acting up.

Thanks everyone.
I repaired the resistor pack a couple of weeks back and at that time the a/c was working fine other than the fan speed only working on 4. I checked the operation and everything appeared to be ok. I had also removed the vent covers on the dash when replacing the stereo and it all looked good. I will double check everything as suggested and see. It would appear the drain may be clogged which makes sense with the water coming out of the vent. If all else fails I will try the freon level. I am not at home so I don't have my gages so I don't want to add freon without knowing the pressures.
Of course it has to wait until I am on Vacation.

Freeze switch prevents the evaporatoir temp from dropping so low that you start building ice on the evaporator. Next time you experience this condition, turn the AC off for five or ten minutes , then back on again. If it comes back cold, you probably have ice building up in there. If the passengers side carpet gets wet when you do this, you also have a plugged drain.
