Default Are all 16v U.S. Spiders the same?

Would a 16v intake ( spider) be the exact same as one from a later 16v engine? I am looking to buy one and I don't want to make an expensive mistake.
Thanks

IIRC they are not all the same... do you need a plenum or the whole spider? what year?

Isn't at least legs different to accomodate different (K- and L-jet) injectors?

Nope. 78-79 US used CIS and then L-jet.

I think i measured even smaller diameter runners on the pre 80 runners vs the later 80-84 runners. the euro is 1.6" diameter vs the US 84 which is 1.5" TB is a big deal vs euro 3.5 vs 2.7"

Mark K. ......... So it would be to my benefit to find a Euro spider and TB? From what I remember, someone here had done some testing and didn't really show an improvement in performance by just changing the intake and TB to the euro sizes. But what if I plan on super charging in the future. Would the larger TB be beneficial in that case? I was only planning on a small sc setup. The 6psi murph kit looks good. The intercooled 9psi looks better but I don't know that I will be able to part with that extra money. The main reason I was asking about intake runner compatability was so I could buy a set, polish and annodize them and then switch them out with my un-polished ones. That way I would have no down time. But if I could gain some performance down the road by upgrading to the euro's I may just do it.

There are some other things going on with that last test. first of all the throttle body was not the euro, and thats the most important point. i got 43hp with the euro intake and just the cams. (with the 4.7 and i think scot got probably around 20hp for the euro intake at a peak of 218hp to the rears with his bone stock and tired 82 4.5L.
the intake is just a series of pressure drops. remove them and it adds to the bottom line, even with supercharging too.

83-85 Euro runners and TB opening are larger than the US versions. I have one of those in my garage as well. The TB is also much larger - Carl has side by side pics of these on his site.

1.5" vs 1.6" on the diameters of the US vs the euro

pretty substantial. extrude hone gets close, but not really.
