3-Wire O2 Sensor Plug Connectors - WTB?
I want to make a diagnostic connector that I can quickly plug-in inline and read the 02 sensor output. I want to be able to move it from car to car whenever I want with no muss, no fuss, and no creative wiring.
Does anyone know from where I can source both ends of the 3-wire O2 sensor plugs?

Any of the donor cars that sacrifice parts to 928 Int'l, etc. are bound to have the ends you need left around as crusher 
fodder. Perhaps you know someone there ....

If I'm not mistaken the non-sensor end is part of the engine wiring harness. So, you'd need an '87+ harness bad enough to not sell but good enough for the connector to work from an engine that was fragged.

As I expected. No luck. No harnesses.

I believe the same connector is used on 944s and there the plugs mate over the tranny. Really easy to cut off of a parts car. You might post this request to the 944 dudes.

The dealer stocks 944 connectors, so if they are the same you may find one there easily. Then there's always the VW store in a pinch. If you can find one with a knowledgeable parts guy, that is. Many places train their guys to run the software and maybe the cash register, guys with no direct knowledge of anything unless you give them a matching VW number or a car to look it up from.

Now one of my secrets is out....
The one side is available on factory correct O2 sensor replacements but the other side is installed on the vehicle's wiring harness. I got mine from a harness that was beyond repair.
I do not know if or where they may be available.
Next I may show you my portable heated O2 sensor w/analog A/F gauge for testing cars not equipped with an O2 sensor......

Ok, so.... looks like the options are:
- see if John can Speake for the connectors
- see if the 944 guys can help a water-cooled brother
or...
figure out what VeeDubs have the same connector and go to da junk yahd.

OMG. It's connector heaven.
I guess that there are/were enough more 944's sold, or the 928 parts were never expected to fail.
Ok. Now I've got something to take over to the 944 board. Wish me luck. Never been there before. Is it a nice place?
