Angry PHIL RABY and Totaled 911 Magazine call the 928 "BIG and LAZY!"

More slap downs by Totaled 911 Magazine and Phil Raby.

This Month on page 7 of his magazine our in his publishing editors comments...

"While to compare a modern 911 with the big, lazy 928 is plain silly."
Philip Raby
Publishing Editor

I suppose that is also a "Tounge in Cheek" comment!

I am returning my copy to the bookstore and I am appalled that this magazine and Philip Raby are sponsors of Rennlist.

Maybe the lazy comment is in reference to how much work we must do in our 928s (928S4 and later) to keep up with a 996.

And when he means modern, could he mean a 1995 model? A 1995 model yeat 993, which I believe was absolutley trounced by a well running 928GTS in that year?

Last month all other Porsches to the 911 were "LESSER CARS" this month "928's are big and lazy". This absolutely burns me up! especially since this magazine is a Rennlist sponsor and gets to get away with such trash.

I took a few laps in an older 911 with a DE instructor at Texas World Speedway last year. This poor bastard was frantically sawing away at his wheel trying to keep his car on the track. Look at any of the 928 track videos and you'll see what "lazy" means. No drama, good control, and smooth predictable response.

The magazine is "Total 911" not "Total Porsche."

Of course their views will be biased.

Perhaps he needs copies of Mark Anderson CarTV.com videos munching on 911 ***. I 've got some pretty good Don Hanson video too.

I agree Pat, but don't let it get you down. If he keeps up with the trash talk, his own will turn on him out of sheer embarassment.

The Don Rickles of the 911 brotherhood.

I am sure most 911 drivers are ashamed to have him represent himself as their self appointed spokesperson.

cheers
