Is the screw job really necessary or a good idea with this little seal? I admitted to doing it on a honker of a seal that was actually locked in-place by a lip, but not on this little guy. I bought a seal puller, although I haven't used it on the 928 yet.

Go to pep boys and get a seal puller...

it usually looks a bit like a weapon... has two hooks one on each side of the head...

use a cloth to pad the shaft and oil pumpsurface...

I usually had use wood to press the seals back on....

I will check the PepBoys. Becouse I wen there for gear pulleys, and they were huge. I didn't see anything small. I willl check it out.

Wait, I just ckecked out the link Bill gave and I realized that it doesn't look like gear puller. They might have it then, becouse I wasn't searching for this. I will tell you what I find,

Hey. Checked out local PepBoys, they don't have the seal puller. So, I ordered one from the link Bill gave(thanks)

To make the hooked seal puller fit/work without pulling the fan, I bent it about 90 degrees and it worked fine. Doesn't take much to pull a seal.
