Default 1994 gts electrical gremlin

Last year I bought a 19994gts in Japan. I still live in Japan. I have an electrical problem I need some assistance with. When I turn my interior lights on, they stay on. Even when the doors are closed. I checked the amp differences when I shut the doors or the hatch and the amp difference indicates that the door switches and hatch switches are working. I even changed the door switches and unplugged the hatch switch. The windows operate all the time now. Even with the key switch off. Is there a delay switch somewhere that may be affecting both my windows and my interior lights. The interior lights used to go off after a period of time and a I remember the windows used to not work after I turned the iginition key off. Do you have any suggestions?

thanks in advance.

The light delays are controlled by light combination relay. You can get a used good one from 928 International for half the price of new.

I should add that I believe the window delays are also controlled by this lamp relay. It includes what is known as the X-buss relay, that provides power to certain accessories after teh ignition is switched off. The windows are supposed to operate until you open the doors. That's why I suspect this relay.

isogashii,

Interior lights could be door/hatch switches, however windows functioning with car switched off would be independent of these switches (at least on my S4). Might this be a bad ignition switch???

Sorry I have no help with your gremlin, but lets see some pics of your GTS.

Does your GTS have the special JAPAN fender flares?

Best of luck,
Mike
