Default stirling's variocam project

Mining all the links I gathered over the years for the links page I'm setting up, I must say Sterling's project really stands out as an engineering masterpiece. I've always wanted to say that, so for whatever this is worth - Cheers to you man!

Thumbs up

Pierre,
Indeed!
T'was a long time coming.
Sterling had a vision, and the focus to see the project through.
Admirable on all counts.
Then there is Abby, the SC crowd, the 6 Liter Group, the huffer/turbo minions.
More ?
Brendan and his mondo build-up, Anthony and his early model, Paul and his outrageous/gorgeous 'skin' interior, your Fat bully developement - Gawd that was a pretty sHARK in stock form- wide body/suspension, and the now defunct lens cover project. John Speake and his MAF work.
And the dozens of guy's/gal's who have undertaken mechanical/electrical work of sheer necessity, wether financial, or, lack of a qualified local wrench.
But, Yeah ... for a solo expedition off the map of that magnitude...Sterling is at the top of that list.
On the flip side I hope that BUG never bites ME!

Every now and then, I look for updaes on his site. Laltely it's been sort of dormant. I wonder if he ever got the engine finally tuned to get maximum performance.
