Default Ageless classic

I just wanted everyone to check out this one pic showing the beauty and timelessness of the 928. 3/4's down the page is a photo of red cars lined up.

http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/sho...5&page=6&pp=20

For me the 928 looks as fresh as the 360 and as beautiful whereas the TR looks a little dated but still nice.

The 928 curves will never be beaten. How come no report from the 928 members of the caravan?

Actually I think the 360 in that 2nd shot looks too Honda/rice. The 928 it the best looking one there.

Never realized how similar Ferrari red and Guards red were. Looks great. never liked the Testarossa from day one the 512 was a much better looking car. The 360 is nice but over rated.

I like the wheels on that S4. Anyone know what type/size they are?

Yeah those are one of my favorites for the 928. Almost bought a set the other day on Ebay. They are the lightweight 996/boxster factory alloys. Very nice lightweight weel and very strong. They would be 8" fronts and 10" rears x 18"

Here is a set for sale now.

Thanks, Anthony. So the offsets on those ones are correct? Huh. Gotta save some money up for a set.

Chuck,

Although those are one of my favorites the Speedline are my favorite. What offset and tire size did you use? What do you think of the quality of the RH wheels?

17's. 18's make you feel every damn bump. Plus here in Michigan with all the pot holes, I'd ruin 1 rim per year! No thanks. It's almost an 80/20, but more like a 70/30 relationship - 70% of the looks/ride for 30% of the price.

Anthony,

We originally bought the RH wheels for a 1997 993 cab we used to own. The sizes are: 8.5x18 w/52mm offset in the front and 10xi18 w/54mm offset in the rear. I run 225's in the front and 265's in the rear.

As for my feelings about RH, I must tell you that I had a run in with the US importer (who is located here in Charlotte) of the RH wheel when I bent one of mine and my opinion of them is extremely negative. My momma always said, if you cannot say something nice about somebody....... Wheels are decent quality but I would buy another brand (perhaps from BW Motorsports??) from someone else. But that's just me.

Thanks Chuck,

With those offsets, that explains why they have the deeper dish look than the Speedlines on my turbo. I was thinking about the BW Motorsports, I just am not a big fan of the reverse teardrop look. I prefer the standard lip on that style wheel.

What?

When did you get those? It wasn't recent was it, because I issued an Amityville Fatiwah curse on all GTS/cup rims sold here without me, since its long past my turn to get some.
