I find the RDK very usefull at helping me maintain the correct pressures.
I don't know why so many people have a problem.

The only time it gives a warning is when the pressure drops in one or more tires.
When it does I pump them back up to the correct pressure.
There is a very good graph in the manual that gives you pressure versus ambient temperature.

I agree, I like the system. Although the new system Porsche is using doesn't require the car to move to work and it gives actuall pressures for each tire. My confusion was based on the change in required pressures from one set of tires to another. I ran the MXX3's in 98-100 degree weather with the pressures set at 36PSI cold and never did it give me a warning. With the new tires the system sent a warning at 38 psi in the one tire while the others were at 40 cold. Both cases the ambient temp was in the high 90's.

Don't have a clue.......maybe the system had an agreement with the old tires.....
