Thanks for the links and info re: SMART cars, everyone! I guess I was mistaken.
So the Brazilian is more cute, whereas the German more stylish... no surprises there, but which would you rather spend a little fun time with shooting around town?!? Yeah, me too... the spunky Brazilian!!

There is a car being made in Italy that runs off of compressed air. Pretty cool cncept. Now if they could make them look good!!

That might be true for a short little fun time, but in the long run...

The SMART was engineered with resources that other mini car manufacturers can only dream of. SMART had the full Mercedes resources available (and still screwed a few things up), so overall it is a much better engineered product. I would not want to be in an accident with the Brazilian mini car...
