I believe that figure is 0.500" which is a lot of lift for those cams.
Here's a good set of heads showing the Porsche factory port job, the dealers workshop then cleaned then up a touch more and got 4 hp over the factory rating.

Why the cut valve guides? I have read not to to do that for the street? Cup car is only race right?

The GT3 clubsport is the same, they had two heads on the bench, one clubsport, one cup car both the same. These have heads designed for this kind of work. As I said, factory port job.
