Default the 6th injector

my 1979- i want to rig my cold start injector to dump more gas when i go lean. how is this trick done. i want to increase my fuel flow so i can advance my timing and use 110 octane race gas. how is that rear mout turbo setup going anyone

Er... I guess you mean the 9th injector? If you have some creative way to detect when it's lean, you could probably just activate the injector with a relay. Not sure how you'd do this or why you think it's necessary though, since the 79 has no way to know what the mixture is, and the cold start injector won't give you balanced enrichment to all cylinders. So essentially you'd have to add all the hardware to sense mixture and activate the injector. You're probably better off tweaking the WUR or installing a RRFPR if you need more fuel.

How do you know that there would be a lean condition in the first place? Also, 110 octane can easily overheat your exhaust valves and manifolds, especially if you don't burn it all in the cylinder. Hopefully you thought to remove the cat.
