I don't think you could get tires that wide at the time these kits were introduced. Wild looking beast indeed.

I bet youd get one heck of an echo if you were to talk into those rear rims...look at the dish!

Post some more pics of this car Tarek, and your other widebodies

If my quick research is correct, the Countach had 345/35 - 15" tires back in 1982.

My guess is that he's putting new wheels on the car.
Which might really help it to look a lot better.
It's a wild car, but it does look a bit dated.
But maybe someone else will find a use for those wheels.
Maybe one of the racers on here could use all that rubber!

You gotta love fenders so wide and flat that you can use them for picnic tables when you go tailgating or camping.

Looks like rear visibilty is severely limited. But then it must get old to see every car made always behind you- I think I'll block my rear quarter windows too.

Hey everyone. Sorry I've been gone from the list for a while.

Yes I bought new wheels/tires for the car. The new ones fit perfectly. The ones on eBay required 4" spacers and were still 4" recessed into the flares... so the lines are improving on the wheels. Many projects coming up for the car, including body mods...and certainly more power, but first I want to make sure the suspension is finetuned well enough to make the investment in power worth it.

Tony, I will need Ernest to visit so he can take pictures...but lazy me will one day spend time on washing the cars and taking pictures

Rixter, thanks for posting the pics....of the car. As for my bald head...gee I never knew I was that bald !!!

bcdavis, the picture on your website is of another car. The front end on mine is different from the one on your website. Same for side view mirrors. actually I don't even have a passenger side view mirror....yet. There were 4 of these cars built. One presumably crashed and burned on the track. Another was parted out before it was finished, and two more: mine and the one on your website, which resides somewhere in the Northwest. What is interesting is that it sold at dealership local to me (in Florida) a couple of years ago.

That is the single most hideous front end body kit i've ever seen in my entire life. The side view looks pretty neat, and i like the rear- but that front end is beyond hideous.

Edit: In retrospect after looking at the pix again, the only thing i like is the exhaust.

The rest of it looks like a neon owner got hold of it the same day he hit the lottery.

Abortion.

To the owner of the car: I admire your passion, just not your taste. Ignore me, i'm sure you could give a damn what i think.
