I got a quote for $250/wheel to get them chromed, that seems overly expensive for a dip.

I've redone the sensor connector in the spare tire well. I'm going to jack it up and see if the sensor in the trans is even sending pulses. I took apart the odo this weekend expecting to see a dead gear; it looks like someone did a good job replacing it already.

The temp gauge is another oddity. I've replaced the temp sender because the old one was always near zero resistance. The gauge now works sometimes, so I'm guessing it's some wiring issue.

I've done the whole ground cleaning thing at all 6 ground points.

Thanks for the reply!

There's a whole lot more to it than just a dip if it's done properly. Some good info on the Cal Chrome website here. I was very happy with the results from these guys and it was closer to $100/wheel IIRC.
