way too good to be true, that car was for sale under a different user name not too long ago, i bet that listing will be pulled within 24hrs, notice you have to contact seller before bidding, usually a front for something

Well, he is trying harder. Not making bidders public, better use of english. $4800, not the $4500 he wanted in the past. But, he is advertising a car with NJ plates for pickup in Virginia. I've reported him in the past and will do so once again. The sad thing is that there are bidders that are clueless.

I sent an email regarding my interest and this is what I got back.

Hello,

Let me introduce myself, my name is Susan Rindner and I live Vienna, VA.
First I want you to know that the car and all the papers are in
Chicago in eBay Motors custody. I don't have time to handle this sale
and that is why the car is at eBay. The car will be sent by an eBay
agent from Chicago trough DAS and will arrive at your place in 5 days.
The vehicle was inspected by eBay Motors so you can rest assured that
the car is in the described condition and the title is clean.
I want this transaction to be smooth enough as I am caught in the
middle of some very important events and have very few time at my
disposal. The car is in perfect condition, no scratches, no special
marks, no dents and there is no need for additional repairs what so
ever. It has no accident record or any engine problems.
The price is $4,800 including shipping costs anywhere in the
continental US. I'm selling at this price due to some family problems
that can't be postponed. There are no other costs regarding this
transaction.
In order to be able to buy it please let me know if you have any
negative feedback and, if this is the case, for what reason.
Please also provide me with the following details necessary to take a
decision and complete the transaction:
-your full name and address for shipping
-your phone number
-your eBay ID
I apologize for asking for such information but I need to be sure
about who I am selling it to and also if eBay will cover for the
transaction.
Regarding payment I am aware of the buyer's protection and we will use
eBay Motors secure payments for this transaction. Since the car is in
eBay's custody you will have to make the payment of $4,800 to eBay
Motors Financial Department and when it is received they will start
shipping the car to you. After you receive the car you will have 5 days
of inspection. If then you decide not to buy the car you just have to
send it back and you will get a 100% refund. I am peaty sure this won't
happen but I'm telling you this as I know it's difficult to buy a car
without seeing it and that is exactly why you can inspect it before your
final decision has to be taken. To complete the payment you must have
cash available.
If I receive the requested information I will make the arrangements
and you will be contacted by eBay during the next 12-24 hours.

Best Regards
Susan Rindner

And when she approves you, you get a spoof email that looks like Ebay, but it's not. Cannot believe folks fall for it.
