That Z28 vs S4 video the 1/4 mile strip goes downhill!
Do you honestly believe that someone would go through the trouble to build a 1/4th mi track that went down hill?
It's an optical illusion, the run-out is up hill.

Considering some of the less than sane engineering projects that've occured over the years it wouldn't much surprise me.
If it's an optical illusion, it's a very convincing one. I guess the uphill part after the traps is an optical illusion too?

The car is an 4spd auto..2:20 rear end. I shift it manually and use the kick down switch. I dont load the converter at all, no need to i dont think. Just a good smmoth application of the throttle.
the other car was a Mitsu of som sort? EVO?

I think i hit 1.9 once, but 99% of the time i sit at 2.0-2.1ish. Thats where this car is the weakest. If i use drag radials i could be sub 2sec consistantly and in the mid high 12s as well all the time.
to get 1.7-8 would be
but i would have to start a weight loss program i think. My cars a daily driver so i dont like pulling stuff out...amp..seats..tool kit..etc etc.

Wonder how much difference it would make if you took the passenger seat out for the night at the drags along with your spare, tools and anything else not bolted down too securely?

My best was a 2.249, with a real tight cluster right in there. In Andy's video the car really shoots out of the gate, are those drag radials he's wearing on the back?

They might be i m not sure, im not sure if he had the power steering pullies then either? He'd have to answer that. Thats the great thing about the TS though, sure change the low end perf of this car. My pre SC slips had consistant 2.2ish launches also.
