Default I reached a milestone tonight!

It was a nice night for a ride and I knew I was close to hitting the 100k mark so I took the wife and kids out for ice cream... Twenty miles and 3 ice creams later we hit it!

I had visions of doing triple digits as I turned 100k but it would have been tough to do in my neighborhood. I hit the milestone on our return trip 300 yards from my driveway. Note the speed- I probably could have got a ticket for going too slow.

So she sits tonight in the garage a proud 17 year old with her odometer reading exactly 100000.

Lucky kids, going for ice cream in the hottest car on the road. At least you had enough people to push you to the nearest gas station.

When my first Saab went over 200,000 I went to take a picture but the needle was in the way. By the time I clicked the picture I was going 110.

Nice going! Now that you have her broken in, drive her like you stole her...

Couple years ago when my 84 rolled past 100k, we had just arrived home from our usual 550 mile romp home from Detroit. Went in the house, grabbed a cold beer, and shared same with my beast. I drank half, poured the other half over the hood. When we get to 200k I think I'll upgrade the celebration to champagne...

Adding to that: Electronic fuel pumps don't like to be near empty. As a rule, they will last longer if they are fed more often. Just a suggestion.

My gauges are a little off. I had plenty of gas. I have a few issues inside the pod to take care of. Notice how you don’t see the temp gauge. It was pointing due north at the time. I cut it out of the picture so I wouldnt take too much crap.
