Thumbs up + BWWAAAAAAA..... +

It is now done, I took possession of it on thursday. 928s 84
Made the trip to Toronto and back same day, 10-12hr practicaly non stop of driving. The "machine" is gorgeous, souper tight and the tires are like glue. Now I know what "being on rail" means... It's a cornering beast. The acceleration from 100kph (60mph) is just fenomenal. Funny thing about the 928 it feel hevy & slow at first and after a wile you realise that there is alot of travel to the BWWWWAAAA pedal. The car get light real fast. The stock exhaust sounds great. The rumble at idle is beautyfull. My buddy thinks I made a exellent choice, I think so to. The combo black/black/black (tint) makes it look real mean. I love it. And yes, it sure feels like a "supercar". Well that as put my BMW or Porsche choice in perspective. Quite impressve that 100kph @ 1,800rpm ... fuel efficent at highway speed.
This pic is from the PO, I will post some "fresh" ones as whether permits.

OT : I spent the night at hospital thursday. I started to cough up blood in the afternoon and had to stop on the side of the road in the midle of nowhere 2 times on the way back. So the Shark drive back was not as plesant as it should have been. I have to back monday for a final exam.

Congrats, Dan. Excellent choice. Very nice looking beast you've got there. The more you drive it, the more it will amaze you. Good luck with it and I also hope you're feeling better soon.

Nice one Dan.............good for you. Now get yourself in better health, do the regular pre-run checks for tyre presussres, oil and coolant level, select your favourite local piece of empty highway and go for a ride of a lifetime.

When done go for a 'cool one' and contemplate life in the fast lane!!! Then, go do it again.........

Very nice Dan. I would have prefered my 84S in that color combo, but it was a take it or leave it issue for me. I took it in Platinum Metallic. Hope you feel better soon.

10:30 PM just came back from "cruzing"....started at 10:00 AM. Sure I stoped a couple of hours here, there. Once you start you can't stop. At my Bro's pit stop, he wanted to see the engine (retired mecanic) - btw, they ALL want to see the engine - pop the hood and looky here, my first broken belt (fan). I had a spare in the "trunk" so we did that right away. They are all "monky faced" suprised when I tell them what I payed for it. I'm still getting used to the transmission's kikdown and shifting preferences...I think I have to get myself a kikdown switch.

You bet

- SharkSkin : maybe what you need is a G-suit?

Thanks for your wishes of health, feeling better now....

I forgot; I got stoped by 2 cops on bicycles in the Byward market in Ottawa last night. My temp licence was not in the right window

It's a gorgeous day here, so I'm off again early and this time with my cam.
I should get some nice pics and post some later this evening

Thanks. Yes the kickdown switch is on the agenda sometime in the near future. It's a 4 spd. I do shift manualy when needed. Everytime I look at it, it is as if it is not mine. I'm still in a dream state right now. I hope it lasts for a long time.
