New pictures of my 928
it's been a while since i posted and thought i'd share some updated images on my porsche 928... Due to recent events i've been forced to sell it but hopefully later on in the future i'll be in a more financialy stable position to own and drive these wonderful cars..
this may be my last post but i'd be more than happy to attend any up coming shark events in the future
I haven't made as big of an impression on this forum and i dont expect everyone to remember me
but i do want to thank those of you that have helped me out in the past
Rixter i want to thank you for your support in helping me address the problems i've faced in the past with my car and making an attempt to help me sell the car..
Stylin928 / ron I want to thank you for coming out to look at my car and showing me your awesome restoration and giving a hand in selling my car
and i do want to thank everyone who invited me along in some of the best road trips i've been on, as well as the awesome team at 928intl for tips and advice.
again please keep me updated on future events and perhaps i'll be able to attend in the future..
--Robert Money signing off
p.s. if you are curious about the car please feel free to pm me anytime

Quite the project there.... Maybe when you're ready to get back in the game you'll find an example that is closer to the "time to enjoy it" stage. No doubt you'll be back... once bitten...

Looks like a fun project for somebody (I won't be in the market for a few years). I've seen a couple of 928s in San Antonio, but there are probably a lot more in Austin.

Seats are from 911? I have only seen those original from factory in '81-82 ROW 4.5L cars. Not that it makes much difference. Just curious if some US models got them as well.

i bought mine as it was as a project car, i did note certain modifications to the car which would be the door mouldings and the front lip
the seats may also be an upgrade but they did not seem out of place..
and aside from the small hole in the driver seat(visible from the picture) the leather on all four seats is damn near perfect condition

Wow, there are others out there almost as ratty as mine, It still doesn't keep me from enjoying it though. One thing I always remeber when looking at online pictures is how much a camera flatters my own car. I doesn't look half bad here, but it's an optical illusion.
Even owning this heap has me bitten, I can tell I'll always have one around.

well i can't drive mine anymore so the only thing left for me to enjoy is the memories
the clutch slave and master cylinders have failed, the alternator has gone out for the second time, the engine doesnt hold it's fluids, and the transmition is also going out with only 2nd, 4th and 5th gears remaining... the engine itself has tremendous power and sounds awesome but it still leaks it's fluids... So now i'm forced to sell it on ebay as it sits in my front driveway
