Default Anyone tried Round Eyes?

I came across this company in a four-wheeler magazine. I was thinking about trying them in my 84'. I was wondering if anyone here has checked them out before. The website is www.roundeyes.com. Click on the Jeep 7" conversion picture to get info.

Look at the lens, it’s just a clear piece of glass or plastic and there is no reflecting cup in front of the bulb either. The light distribution will be horrible. The light will scatter in every direction leaving you with less visibility than the stock 7” sealed beam units give. It would be good for off road use where the coverage area is more important than focus of light or the patter of illumination.

If you want to update your nigh time visibility, buy either a Bosch 7” conversion kit (that’s what I have), or the Hella 7” conversion kit.

The Bosch kit guarantees 100% improvement in night time visibility and having them on 3 928s I can assure you that’s a fact. The installation is the same as replacing the sealed beam unit with another one. No changes to the wiring are required either. It’s a true and complete plug and play kit.

If anyone is interested, I have 2 Bosch kits left over that I’m willing to sell.
