Jim - I've had the 9-volume grey binder set for 5-6 years now (purchased new back then), but it really doesn't seem to have much in-depth coverage of the GTS model. Am I missing something?

My 34 pound package just arrived today. But I can't open it until August! Many thanks to my brother for the early 50th birthday present.

Bill tell the whole story your Brother is a professional mechanic here in California and you have been known to have him fly in on "vacation" and "Oh can you look at the Mercedes" ? At least this way he will have the workshop manuals for when the GTS needs the 60,000 mi service and his next family reunion. But yes it is a very nice gift !

Joe, he's about that nice too. After I saw Jim's post about the new WSM's, I emailed my brother, who's MBZ/BMW/Porsche shop is near 928 Int'l, and let him know that I had a birthday coming up and that the WSM's would make a nice present. I got back from skiing at Mammoth this morning and checked my emails and saw his response to look out for a big box, which showed up today also.

Way to go bro.

Jim, my dear brother, while out here on my dime to help with the Mercedes, refused (somewhat jokingly),to help with the 928. He says I've got to do the work on that car myself. As for the Mercedes, he is most helpful. So, armed with the WSM and PET program, I am slowly able to do more and more myself with the 928. Now, if I can just con him into coming to Virginia for the TB/WP party next year.......

Randy there is not that much about a GTS that is different.......feel the love now ? The Service Information Technic booklets WKD497 821 ,WKD 498 921 and WKD 498 221 which I believe Jim Morehouse has digitized point out many of the year to year GTS variations.

Jim, you will have my order on Monday. I have been getting situated with 3 928's that just hit my driveway this week. I will call it in Monday afternoon.
