Tahoe Shark

Ten days until we get together at Lake Tahoe. I'm soooo excited! Fortunately my wife has been helping with all of the co-ordination and timelines because I got overwhelmed. (How do you manage to do this every year Keith?) The drives are planned, most of the prizes are accounted for, the agenda is set, and the food & drinks are taken care of.

When you get in on Friday or Saturday come up to the Suite, sign in and pick up your agenda. We have talked Jorj7 (George Suennen) into coming up and taking photos for us on Sat & Sun. He takes all of the photos for ORR and really does great work.

We have a new sponsor for Friday night hor'dourves! In addition to the hospitality suite starting at 3pm at the motel, the Crystal Bay Club will be providing some food for us Friday at 7pm. Try to adjust your arrival to take advantage of the food & drink.

The Saturday drive will start at 10:30 and the hospitality suite will open at 8am for a continental type of breakfast. Hopefully those of you that are unable to make it up on Friday can make it for the drive.

If you are not familiar with Tahoe, you will need to bring some warm clothes for any evening activities. Evening temps will be in the 40's and the daytime highs should be in the 70's

Tim I don't do it alone...Dan Bise is the other 50% of making SF happen. It does take A LOT of personal time...more than anyone can imagine!

I am sure we will all have a great time at the lake. Really looking forward to this. Sounds like there will be a caravan coming up from so Cal on Friday. Based on what the plan looks to be, we should easily be there before 7PM Friday evening.

BTW, do you know of any places to wash down the cars when we arrive?

Hey Tim, how many people have committed to going? A carwash for us Southerners would be MUCH appreciated if that can be arranged as I am sure a school of Sharks will cause general mayhem in the insect world! I've got a car bra from a fellow lister that I may actually have to use for once Should be a lot of fun, really looking forward to it!

Maybe we should take the Sharks for a dip in the lake to cool them off and clean them up when we get there...NOT!

So yea...still waiting for a response on a Shark wash.

I just got off the phone with the motel and you can wash your cars at the motel all weekend. I'll provide a hose, bucket and some mits. I'll scrounge around the garage and see what kind of car wash I have. You guys are great, thanks for making the journey. You will have fun.
