Default factory decorations on ebay?

Hi all,

Purchased my OB Left hand Drive Japanaese import about 12 months ago. Been resprayed, WP/TB, oil and water leaks fixed, Torque Tube replaced with re-conditioned, etc etc. So after some outlay it is now fully mechanically sound. The problem is, when I purchased it there were some factory exterior decoration parts missing. Namely Center caps on all four wheels, bonnet badge and also the engine badge, so I am now looking to replace these items so ppl can see it is a porsche both coming and going. At the moment the only id on the car is the embossed Porsche label on rear bumper, so ppl sitting in front of me in traffic can't tell its a Porsche

There have been a few of these items for sale on ebay (claiming ot be genuine factory parts).

Now I haven't purchased anything yet but if I can get these items as genuine factory items from a reliable retailer I would prefer that to buying from ebay, where do you guys get your badges and etc from when you have to have them?

All reputable (I have no affiliation):

Sounds as if you can handle the install.

Forget e-bay. The outfits donald refers to are known as the 'big 3' in the 928 community. If they don't have what you need it's probably unobtainable.

928 Intl. has center caps. I bought a couple some time back. Best service of the vendors I have used.

What Perry said about service. I've found some things (tools, etc.) at automotion.com; their catalog is called Performance. They are more expensive, but they have a lot of cosmetic stuff for all P cars. I would also recommend Carl Fausett's (sp) site, he posts here and has some specialty/race items. His site is 928motorsports.com. I don't think he carries this item though.
