Default Pics of older 928s with newer wings

So I'm staring at the 78 hatch that is in my garage for its third wet sanding (K38 is a GREAT high build primer) (its the third hatch as well) - and I look over at the Fiberglass S4 wing reproduction that I was going to sell on ebay.

I have been trying to keep the 78 from being anything but an orginal-looking non-spoilered OB, but this wing thing got me today. I have no idea how it would look. The S4 body style lends itself to the S4 wing. I've seen some S + S4 spoiler tails and I didn't care for them.

Can you guys post some pics to help a guy out? EARLY cars, no S soilerage front or rear, with S4 spoilers.

THANKS!

Marcus's car at German Auto Art has the S4 wing with no S rubber on the rear hatch. It looks fine and aggressive in my opinion. Not sure if this picture shows it or not.

I think it would look even better colour-matched.

Yep, Marcus's wing is colour matched....and he added that wing without stripping the entire car or pulling it off the road for any appreciable amount of time. If you're going to do it, don't make a federal case out of it Brendan, just do it.

Brendan,
FWIW
There were a couple with both the S rear spoiler with hatch trim coupled with the BIG wings.
Two had the adjustable 87' MY wing.
Opps! Flicks were of the Denmark-Holland fest -posted last week.
They were unusual looking and probably not what you are looking for but take a gander.
Randy's idea on color match is a good/great idea, though some paint's look much better with the contrasting black.
Beauty is in the Eye... and all that.

You GTS guys are just so .... so ... monochromatic!

Actually, I've been toying with the idea of getting a spare wing, doing the endless sanding and colour matching to the S4: think it would look better with the GTS rear .... ?

Heh. Ugh, Well... Kaz here seems to think he knows me.

The car is already in primer. No biggie to drill some holes, re-coat, and block the wing as well.

Keith, How did you get the rear bumper pads painted so good?

Might as well make it useful and go with a 'drnick' style adjustable one.

A flat underbody and rear diffuser would go well with no front air dam or side skirts, too...
