Default Oilfailure for bearings

Hello!

The known problem with the S4 engine that when cornering on the track a lot for like a loooong time the bearings run out. To fix this I read here on rennlist that you buy accusump, drysump or such. Has someone tryed to but some walls in the oilbox whith som openings in between? Shouldnt that solve some problem in the same direction but not fully though?

For a paltry sum (like $20 IIRC) you can get a GTS oil pan baffle and tap it into place on your pan!
I know DR has some in stock @ 928 SPEC.

Crank scrapers are another option.

Accusump, yes. Can you give me a good explanation how to install one in a 928? I looked around and that you can thoose between manual and electrical...
Hm, then again how do you install one and wich one?

John V is the man and what he said is correct - Accusump (unless you go full dry sump).

I have a quite lengthy white paper that shows what I did for installation in my '79 928 track car. Send me a note at info@electronikrepair.com and I'll send you the info.
