My wife told me this morning that around 10:30 inside the house last night she FELT the car start before she HEARD it.

I'll be on the phone today trying to locate a drain plug in town somewhere, and then it's time to put the belts/fan/throttle linkage. I've got to remember to add ATF to the steering and top off the tranny. 9 months of sitting idle led to a fair amount of tranny fluid leaking out of the transmission.

Does anyone know if the 928 drain plug is a common part used by other water-cooled Porsches?

Drain plug - Duct tape a wine cork (preferably the cork from the $$$ wine you bought at the 'appreciation' dinner for your wife! - Does she have a single sister????) and jam it in there if you have to! I am sure that DR will have one for you at SITM!

Seriously, tho....I hope you can find it locally THIS MORNING!

I'm absolutely thrilled for you Dave! Serious congrats are in order.

Geez, as you were searching for your keys last night, Stan and I were down the street dealing with 'magic blower syndrome'. We both had it, but only one was cured.

Yea, Stan mentioned he heard a couple screaming retards... I told him it must be the neighbors. Sho 'nuf.
