I think there is a local here who is interested in a GTS forced fed.
Any GTS in the Murph camp yet?
Joe Dyer's car is a GTS, with the Munk installed and much worked over and repaired SC. I don't know who gets the credit for fixing it, maybe international....but it was a great job after he put some large coin into it. Joe is a great guy, he took it all in stride.........He is the only S/C GTS that I know of.....

Joe- Thanks.

30# injectors with the RRFPR (vortech super fmu) setup by Murf. I also went to a colder plug with good results: beru silverstone S7. They seem to run cleaner than the standard bosch plugs in this application.

You know this is all making sense. The wheel spinning 3.96 0-60. The wheel spinning dyno with 550 at the wheels. Many graph plots make a trend.

Trend = GOD DAMN FAST 928.

I can't wait.

I'm going to Green Bay in September for a friends wedding. I'm gonna have to line up a ride in on of the cheese grater's cars. Tim or Lag or the Red car. Heh.

Jim
Hope you got that extra bay to keep the shark tools and spare parts close at hand.

When you want a break from the world for a weekend, let me know. We can spend a weekend tooling around the mountains in NH.

CMW up in San Pedro has an S/Cd GTS. It's a twinscrew - Andy's kit.

We only read between the lines

I have to think... one GTS in New Zealand and one in Australia. I shipped the kits and never heard from them again. I had a service bulletin that I sent out and I heard back from the New Zealand guy's wife. when I asked how the car was running she said she is scared to ride in it. That is the only feedback I have.

Great job Jim!! It has been a true pleasure working with you on this project.

Congratulations Jim. From the very little bit I've heard about the Dastek dynos, they read more like the Mustang dynos than the Dynojets, but who knows if that's really an accurate statement. The wheelspin will mess up the readings some regardless, and would probably increase the maximum torque figure more than the maximum horsepower. Maybe you should try having a couple of guys sit in the open hatch area while on the dyno, like I've seen done on some high power cars.

Careful Doug!! It's kind of like only trying a little bit of crack or heroin, just to see what it's like. I can picture it now-

Murf to unsuspecting 928 owner: "Sure you can have a little ride. Let me give you my card. You know, just in case you maybe want to call me later or something." Then it's , and you're , and you'll do just about anything for just a little more boost.

Don't think it can happen to you? Talk to the guy with the red supercharged car in Green Bay if you ever meet him, and see if his story isn't very much like that. He didn't even have or want a 928 before that fateful day he went for that first little ride.

Don't say you weren't warned Doug.
