eibachs are firmer than the GT/factory sport springs. i would say that the eibachs are a good choice to upgrade to after my experience which was to initialy replace the worn out stock shocks with bilsteins. after driving this for many miles i changed to the eibach springs and this is when the car began to feel like a sports car.

i think my next upgrade would be to fit stiffer springs and dampers to the 86 for combined street/track use and transfer the bilstein/eibach combo across to the SE for every day.
