Default Anyone want a 79 928?

I had to drop off some engine parts for machining at a local shop (Aurora, IL) and saw this as I was leaving. Supposedly has 84K original miles although she looks like she was rode hard and put away wet. Asking price is $6200. No affiliation; don't even know if it's a decent deal. Just looks like a Porsche that needs a good home
BTW - sorry about the crappy quality of the pics but I took them with my PDA camera.

Looks better than a lot of them out there.
But that cost is way too high!

Cut 2200 off and its a good track car canidate. Its white, a 5-speed and looks like a no sunroof car to boot.

i saw an early one abdoned here in oakland (off harrison, past 27th)- don't know if the registered owner will pick it up, but it's got one of those bright orange stickers on the windscreen that says "either move it or it gets towed" by the city. sad to see a nice 928 looking like scrap metal on the street. they'll probably auction it off to someone else..... Hmmf.
